Recent Developments for the AJP in WA
Amanda introduced a Bill for an Independent Office for Animal Protection to be debated in 2026. Along with this, a first Notice of Motion on affordable vet care, that we proudly call Veticare, for concession card holders, pensioners, native animal carers for those low-income earners that really need it, was and received unanimous cross-party support to be scrutinised through the parliament committee process. For the report on Veticare to be tabled in parliament with twelve months. Amanda participates everyday in question time to highlight what animals are going through with an aim to bring an end to animal suffering.
Amanda has made a members statement every day since getting sworn in, bringing over 34 animal welfare issues to the chamber. We are a solutions based political party dedicated to ending cruelty towards all animals.
