Maya Cohen-Ronen
Maya Cohen-Ronen (pen name M. C Ronen) is a New Zealand multi-award-winning vegan activist and author. She writes hard-hitting dystopian thrillers with a strong vegan message. Her books are an extension of her activism and aim to open the reader’s eyes to some inconvenient truths and encourage them to make more compassionate choices in their lives. She gives a voice to those most silenced. The most recent award for her ‘Liberation Trilogy’ has compared the effect of these books to that of Orwell’s 1984.
