Amazing Greys rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes greyhounds and greyhound x breeds. The organisation was founded by Martina Best in 2011 and has helped more than a thousand greyhounds live their best lives. We are an independent, volunteer run organisation which opposes greyhound racing. In addition to our rescue work, we advocate for kind and responsible dog guardianship and promote positive reinforcement training for all animals. We also offer dog training and behaviour support to help all dogs who need help to live in our human centric world successfully.
Martina will join the Greyhound Protection discussion panel.
Martina will talk about the welfare issues of greyhound racing, i.e. ‘wastage’ or overbreeding, standards of living and care for racing greyhounds, track safety etc. Martina wishes to also discuss how to bring change or shut down the industry
