Bailey Mason
Bailey Mason is the youngest candidate of the Animal Justice Party. He is involved in campaigns to end dolphin captivity, shut down greyhound racing and is a youth ambassador for plant based treaty.
Bailey has joined Emma Hurst MP in raising significant animal welfare concerns about the misleadingly named Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary. Together they are building momentum to prevent
the loneliest dolphin in the world being right here in a barren pool in New South Wales. “We are going to have an enormous animal welfare issue when there’s just one dolphin left” – Emma Hurst MP.
Stop Dolphin Captivity
Bailey Mason will be presenting an insightful and empowering presentation on shutting down the dolphin captivity industry in Australia. He will inspire everyone with many diverse animal advocacy tactics that can be used for any campaign.
There is already huge momentum on the dolphin captivity issue with most of the captive dolphin parks closed down in Australia. A recent ban on captive dolphin breeding and imports in NSW has also been achieved because of the Animal Justice Party. Emma Hurst MP successfully pushed for this important legislation and it’s just the beginning as momentum builds for even more victories.
Despite the progress there is still significant animal welfare concerns about the future of the last 3 captive dolphins in NSW. The Animal Justice Party has the solution, protestors are being mobilised and social media is becoming a tool to reach the world.
A legislated ban ensures no more captive dolphins will endure a life of misery in NSW but the fight continues for the last 3 captive dolphins. It is only a matter of time before this industry collapses. These dolphins desperately need our help as marine parks milk every last drop of these dolphins.
