April is the Better Chicken Commitment campaigner for Australia, working with the coalition of organisations advocating for the end of raising fast-growing chicken breeds in the Australian meat industry. She has a background in environment campaigning, electoral campaigning, volunteer management, and communications. In her spare time, she rescues and rehabilitates pigeons.
