Melbourne Town Hall, 24th & 25th February
Back after the Covid lockdown hiatus, we returned to Melbourne in 2024. For the first time hosting an Animal Defenders Expo, and the Animal Justice Awards. Animal Rights Forum 2024 was a revitalised conference, with enthusiastic participation! We rebranded the event as “Animal Rights Forum” to emphasise that the event is about animals not the activists. We also wanted to emphasise that our forum is about Animal Rights, not Human Rights issues, no matter how commendable such issues may be.
Some last changes that weren’t reflected in the agenda: Aline Duerr was unfortunately unavailable, and we were joined by Monique Dam of Lucy’s Project.
