Discussion Circle: Opposition to JBS.

Sarah will facilitate, with co-host Angie Stephenson, an open discussion on opposition to JBS.

Known as the Butchers from Brazil, JBS is the world’s largest meat processing company with presence within Australia under brands such as Primo, Riverlea, Andrews Meat Industries and Huon Tasmanian Salmon.

This workshop will develop coordinated activist strategies to hold JBS accountable for its operations in Australia and globally. We’ll explore how activists can work collectively to apply pressure across multiple fronts: meat processing, salmon farming in Tasmania, environmental degradation, and tax avoidance.
