
Sooraj Prakash
Sooraj has a background in science, medicine, and public health. He obtained a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Science before going on to study in the Doctor of Medicine program. He later decided to switch path and recently graduated with a double Master’s in Public Health and Global Health. He has worked with NSW Health in Health Promotion settings and is passionate about preventative health.
Having been raised as a vegetarian since birth, he has been vegan for over 3 years upon learning the hidden truths about animal exploitation. Since joining the community at the Sydney Animal Rights March in 2023, he has also been a committed animal rights activist, primarily in the form of street outreach and demos. He is driven to help shape an informed and resilient community of activists, standing together in solidarity, unwavering in their advocacy as they work towards the goal of animal liberation.
