Georgie Purcell

Georgie Purcell is an Animal Justice Party MP, elected at the Victorian election in November 2022. A vegan and activist of over 12 years, Georgie has led key campaigns to create a kinder world for animals. Prior to her election, Georgie was the President of Oscar’s Law, and successfully lobbied for legislation to stamp out puppy farming in Victoria. It was this experience that made her realise the powerful role politics and legislative reform has in achieving animal liberation. As the youngest woman in the Victorian Parliament, Georgie is passionate about making politics accessible and a place for everyone.

Emma Hurst and Georgie Purcell are elected MPs for the Animal Justice Party in NSW and Victoria.
